Dr. Jacob Reinhart is a Mayo Clinic board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with expertise in skin cancer treatment, surgical dermatology, and general dermatology. He is passionate about delivering thoughtful, individualized care and takes pride in helping patients feel confident in their skin.
Originally from Woodbury, Minnesota, Dr. Reinhart attended St. Olaf College, where he earned dual degrees in Biology and Economics. He went on to complete his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Reinhart served six years on Active Duty in the United States Navy, specializing as an Undersea Medical Officer for Navy submariners, divers, and special operators.
Following military service, Dr. Reinhart returned to civilian practice to complete both his dermatology residency and Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology fellowship at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Throughout his training at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Reinhart’s research efforts contributed to over 15 presentations at national and international meetings, including qualifying as a finalist at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Residents and Fellows Symposium, and the winner of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) Fellows-in-Training Clinicopathologic Case Competition.
Dr. Reinhart approaches patient care with a calm yet methodical perspective, dedicated to patient education and comfort. He focuses on evidence-based treatment, advanced surgical techniques, and compassionate care, particularly in the management of skin cancer.
Outside of work, Dr. Reinhart enjoys staying active, working on DIY home projects, and traveling abroad.
