Stephen J. Vitale, MD is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He earned a B.A. degree at Washington University in St. Louis, andhis M.D. degree at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, MO. He then completed two years of Internal Medicine Residency in St. Louis, and a Dermatology Fellowship in Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Vitale is Board Certified in Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a past President of both the St. Louis Dermatological Society and the Southwestern Dermatologocal Society.

He practiced in St. Louis for 20 years, in Naples, FL for 3 years, and in Santa Fe, NM for the past 5 1/2 years. Dr. Vitale practices General Medical Dermatology, and has a special interest in the treatment of Acne.

He and his wife of 36 years, Frances, moved to Colorado Springs to be near their daughter, Lelia, and their 2 grandchildren, Ayden and Brooke.
